Considerable traffic congestion, including around nearby parking facilities, is expected in and around the event areas before and after the traffic restriction periods, including during the Transit Mile. Guests arriving at the hotel by car are kindly advised to take this into consideration and allow extra time for travel.


Naha Giant Tug-of-War (Hatagashira Parade / Citizens' Entertainment Festival & Folk Performing Arts Parade)
The "Naha Giant Tug-of-War Festival," one of Okinawa's three major festivals and a hallmark of autumn, will be held over three days from October 10 (Sat) to October 12 (Mon). The main event, the "Hatagashira Parade & Naha Giant Tug-of-War", will take place on the 11th (Sun). Traffic regulations will be in effect as 14 Hatagashira groups from across the city from across the city parade down Kokusai Dori for the "Hatagashira Parade (Ufunnasunei)".

10,000 Eisa Dancers Parade
The "10,000 Eisa Dancers Parade," a popular Okinawan summer tradition, will be held on Kokusai Dori. You can enjoy dynamic Eisa dances performed by about 1,000 publicly recruited dancers, along with powerful performances by around 70 youth and children's groups gathered from all over the prefecture.

Ryukyu Dynasty Scroll Parade
The Ryukyu Dynasty Scroll Parade is a grand parade held on Kokusai Dori that recreates the vibrant culture and history of the Ryukyu Kingdom era.
Hundreds of participants dressed as kings, queens, ambassadors, warriors, and court officials of the Ryukyu Kingdom will parade down Kokusai Dori in colorful traditional costumes.

Karate Day Commemorative Demonstration Festival
Aiming to share Okinawa's rich karate culture with the world and pass it on to future generations, this event brings together karate practitioners of all ages, from beginners to veterans, to showcase powerful and beautiful demonstrations of karate kata (forms).
